Makita Heat Treated Hypoid Circular Saw
Our Makita 7.25 inch, Hypoid Circular Saw is a high quality circular saw with very efficient hypoid gears that create greater surface contact delivering more power than worm drive gears. This means faster cuts with less reduction in blade RPM’s. These heat treated hypoid steel gears in the Makita Makita 5277NB hypoid circular saw do not prematurely wear like traditional bronze-alloy worm drive gears. Add to this the oil bath technology with a built-in fan and sealed gear housing ensuring 100% oil surface coating on the gears where it is most needed.
For ease of use and maintenance, the Makita 5277NB 7-1/4" hypoid circular saw comes with a rubberized ergonomically designed grip that improves control and minimizes operator fatigue. This circular saw features externally accessible brushes for easy replacement and longer tool life, and the thick gauge base plate is chemically treated to resist rust and warping. Another important factor is the 0 degree to 50 degree bevel cutting capacity making this saw ideal for truss and rafter cut-outs.
Included with the Makita 7-1/4 inch hypoid circular saw is the premium 7-1/4 inch x 24T Carbide Tipped BlueMaks II blade. This premium blade allows faster, smoother cutting in pressure treated lumber & hardwoods.
